No need to Irecord.
If you join the group and post your images there then Roger will pick up the records directly (and you will be given help with Ids if you are not sure.

A bit of a quick (that's a laugh) dash from Grants Houses to South Hetton when the thunderstorm arrived.
Wasn't quite as bad those 4 miles further inland.

It's just a 500 yard drive from the garlic patch to Grants Houses so after catching my breathe I headed along there for a look.

Last trip of the year to the garlic patch.
Still lots of P. maculata around (and others) but the canopy is now closing in and blocking out the light.

A lot less windy than yesterday but strangely few hovers around.
The difference - 10 degrees cooler.
R. campestris out in numbers though - more than I have had in any one day before.

Getting out of the wind at Grants Houses meant enduring crippling heat as it is very much a sun trap.
The hovers didn't like it and nweither did I.

I need to go to Warren House Gill garlic patch in the wood to pick up P. maculata but it is hard on my body.
Is it worth it? - on balance I think so as the garlic and surrounding vegetaion is teeming ...
