No records since 2003 for postcode LN6 - 7 previous records one in each of LN3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Species: ............... Helophilus trivittatus
Abundance: .......... Not abundant, only one specimen.
Date: ................... 11/05/2011
Recorder: ............. Mick E. Talbot
Determiner: .......... Mick E. Talbot
Location: ............... VC53 Backies Wildflower Meadow, Boultham Moor, Lincoln
Habitat: ................ Wild-flower meadow
Grid Ref.: .............. SK957685
Comment: ............. The meadow is badly managed by Lincoln City Council, has been since it was seeded in the early 2000's. This year being no exception, as the day after this photo was taken it was cut, not alowing flowers to reseed. A major consequence of this mis management is the loss of the corncockle, (an endangered species), and the lost of many more plants which were in turn, host to many species of inverts.
