Hello Pierre

Edition two has an additional 16 pages, including an extra section on photography, a series of plates of the most regularly photographed species, a little bit more on Eumerus ornatus and on Epistrophe. Various errors in the first edition have also been corrected.

So, if you don't have the first edition then buy the second.

Reading M. Mille's message, I thought that maybe it's time I bought the book. Do you still have any copies or will I have to get it from Amazon or elsewhere? I would like the authors to get some money from my purchase of it, so don't really want to get a second-hand version, unless it is extremely cheap!
(The dearest version on Amazon is £244.62, which is a bit above what I was hoping to pay...)
Incidentally, there is nothing about it in your "Publications" section. Modesty is one thing, but I do think that after all the work you both must have put into it, you should give it a mention!

Hi Angie

I'm afraid I don't have copies at the moment - do please buy via an appropriate outlet. The royalties go to Dipterists Forum - we chose to do this as the book is effectively the work of 2 authors, a designer, a proof reader and about 60 photographers - makes a much cleaner result from a fiscal viewpoint.

Best wishes

Roger
