No sun at all but at least the dandelion field offered shelter from the wind.
Also seen and collected - single male S. ribesii

Eristalis pertinax - Male x 1
Melanostoma scalare - Male and female 1m, 1f
Neoascia tenur - Male x 1 (Specimen suggests this - black apex to hind femur, long 3rd antennae segment, wings clear, complete chitinous bridge)
Platycheirus albimanus - Female x 1
Platycheirus scutatus sl. - Female x 1
